To submit a UPC request, download the UPC Submission Form or complete the online form. There may be some items that were missed or new food items that aren't in the APL. The APL is downloaded at the store level, so that all eligible foods are available for WIC participants to purchase. All food items are within a database, which is now the Approved Product List (APL). Starting in 2016, Tennessee WIC staff went across the state collecting Universal Product Codes (UPCs) for WIC-eligible food items within our participating grocery stores.
